Luke Evans to make Broadway debut as Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show
Luke Evans will step into fishnets on Broadway for the first time, leading a new revival of Richard O’Brien’s cult musical The Rocky Horror Show at Studio 54. Previews begin on 26 March 2026, with opening night set for 23 April. The production is part of Roundabout Theatre Company’s 2025 to 2026 season.

Evans follows a stage-to-screen career path that began in London with Rent, Miss Saigon and Piaf, and expanded to major films including Clash of the Titans, The Hobbit, Fast and Furious 6 and Dracula Untold, as well as television roles such as Nine Perfect Strangers. He has also released two studio albums.

Since premiering at London’s Royal Court Theatre in 1973, The Rocky Horror Show has played continuously around the world for more than five decades. The 1975 film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, made Tim Curry’s Frank-N-Furter a pop culture icon. Broadway productions previously ran in 1975 and 2000.
Roundabout’s season also features Noël Coward’s Fallen Angels, starring Rose Byrne and Kelli O’Hara, directed by Scott Ellis. Further casting for The Rocky Horror Show will be announced at a later date.
