Daniel Radcliffe returns to Broadway in solo play Every Brilliant Thing

Daniel Radcliffe will return to Broadway in early 2026, starring in the solo play Every Brilliant Thing at the Hudson Theatre. Previews begin on 21 February 2026, with opening night set for 12 March. The limited engagement will run for 13 weeks.

Written by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe, Every Brilliant Thing has been performed in more than 80 countries, and inspired an HBO special starring Donahoe. The story follows a man who looks back on his life and the glimmers of hope that helped him through, told through a growing list of reasons life is worth living. The Broadway production will be directed by Jeremy Herrin and Duncan Macmillan.

Radcliffe returns to the New York stage after winning a Tony Award for Merrily We Roll Along, which closed in July 2024. His previous Broadway credits include Equus and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

Macmillan said the piece tackles serious themes yet remains an experience of joy and celebration, and praised Radcliffe’s intelligence, quick wit and humanity.

The production is presented by Second Half Productions, Seaview and Gavin Kalin Productions. Minnie Driver is currently leading a West End production of Every Brilliant Thing through 8 November. Further details, including additional creative announcements and ticket information, will be shared in due course.
