Expelliarmus: Potted Potter hits Australia

A West End smash hit and 2012 Olivier Award nominee, Potted Potter is an unauthorised Harry experience that is set to leave you laughing as it condenses all seven epic books into just seventy minutes. That’s ten minutes per book.

And it’s coming to a city near you. Potted Potter will play seasons in Perth from October 2, then (probably traveling by Floo network) will visit Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Adelaide, bringing your favourite characters and a real life game of Quidditch to the stage.

A jam-packed seventy minutes, there’s endless costumes, ridiculous props, fun songs, a fire-breathing dragon, and of course, that Hogwarts magic.

Potted Potter was first created by UK writers Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner in 2005 as a five-minute entertainment for fans awaiting the release of the sixth book in the series.  The show grew into a full-length stage production, first seen at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. It has since toured internationally, including sell-out seasons at the Adelaide Fringe, Melbourne Comedy Festival and New Zealand Comedy Festival in 2009, as well as a recent run in New York City.

Tickets for all venues are available now. For bookings and more information visit pottedpotter.com.au
