PETER PAN to resume schedule this weekend on The Show Must Go On

Last weeks scheduled performance of Peter Pan Live was cancelled and replaced with The Wiz. Andrew Lloyd Webber made the decision to support work starring underrepresented members of the black community and to show support for the Black Lives Matter human rights movement.

Lloyd Webber stated on his webpage “We stand with our black employees, colleagues, partners, and creators in outrage at acts of racism. Black Lives Matter.

Peter Pan Live is the 2014 televised production of the original 1954 Broadway musical starring Allison Williams as Peter Pan and Christopher Walken as Captain Hook and will be streamed for 48 hours in Australia from 4am on Saturday 20 June.

The show also featured Kelli O’Hara as Mrs Darling, Christian Borle as Mr Smee and Taylor Louderman as Wendy, with Minnie Driver acting as Narrator.
