Opening in Melbourne in 2009, Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, has played sold out seasons in Melbourne (13 months) and Sydney (15 months), as well as Auckland and Brisbane, and will soon open in Adelaide. Over 1.3 million people have seen the show in Australasia, and finally those in Perth will have their chance to see it too.

Broadway Producer, Michael David, from Dodger Theatricals said “We are thrilled to bring Jersey Boys to Perth.”

“The remarkable partnership of Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio indelibly sealed by a handshake agreement over 40 years ago will resonate with Perth audiences who will identify with the importance of honour and integrity in this touching tribute to the power of loyalty between friends.”

The show features 20 hit songs from the Four Seasons. Written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, the show won four Tony Awards in 2006, including best musical.

The Perth season features the performances of Graham Foote as Frankie Valli, Declan Egan as Bob Gaudio, Anthony Harkin as Tommy DeVito, and Glaston Toft as Nick Massi

Performances will begin in April 13 at the Crown Theatre. Tickets on sale 30 October 2012.
