Kerrie Ann Greenland as Eponine in Les Miserables. Image by Matt Murphy
Have you heard the people sing yet? As Les Misérables makes its way around Australia, audiences in Melbourne and Perth and Sydney have all had the opportunity to meet Kerrie Anne Greenland, our Éponine.
After catching the show’s opening night in Sydney I said that Greenland was “outstanding, a star made on stage before our eyes.”
Here, you can get a taste of Greenland outside of France. In this video recorded at Broadway Unplugged, she’s in New York, in the world of Adam Gwon’s simple and moving musical Ordinary Days. Greenland sings “I’ll Be Here”, a heartfelt, heart-wrenching song about love, loss, catastrophe and fear.
Happy Sunday!
