Win a Double Pass to Grounded at the Seymour Centre

AussieTheatre has two double passes to giveaway to Grounded at the Seymour Centre on Friday, May 1.

Presented by Australia’s leading Ensemble theatre company Red Stitch, Grounded is the gripping story of a female fighter pilot striving to reconcile the tensions of an internal war and external battle. Directed by Kirsten von Bibra, the striking and intense production was recently nominated for five Green Room awards, including best actress for Kate Cole (Sweet Charity).

The pilot’s days as a top gun are interrupted when she falls pregnant. Upon return to active duty, she is unexpectedly reassigned to operating remote-controlled drones from an air-conditioned trailer in Nevada. As pressures mount to pursue a high profile target, the conflicting realities of disempowered warrior and mother become increasingly hard to confront.

Written by contemporary US playwright, Grounded is exquisitely served by Matt Adey’s set and lighting design and Elizabeth Drake’s composition.

Competition closes 29 April at 6pm AEST. Winners will be contacted via email/phone.
