Jambles Ramble Show taking Sydney by storm

In a rare treat for Sydney audiences, Nancye Hayes, Simon Burke, James Millar and Melody Beck will appear at the Jambles Ramble show on Monday 24 March.

A Tonight Show style pastiche hosted by Sydney based performer James Wright (who recently appeared in Belvoir’s Once in Royal David City), the Jambles Ramble Show features candid interviews, songs and spontaneous fun and games in a great theatrical evening.

This will be the first show in the event’s new home – The Polo Lounge of the Oxford Hotel, Darlinghurst – is set to host the show for the foreseeable future, says producer Les Solomon, and with an already impressive selection of guests having supported the venture, we are sure to see much more of Jambles Ramble!

“It is going to be a very special night and the first in the Polo Lounge which gives a great sense of intimacy to the whole proceedings”, Solomon told AussieTheatre.

“Nancye and Simon and James on the one show is something of a rare first, to get artists of this calibre supporting “Jambles” so early in the process of re-establishing the show. All the artists had appeared on The Muftee Show with Hayden Tee in its original form and love the idea and also support and love the remarkable way James Wright has grabbed the concept and made it his own in such a short period of time”, he said.

This month the Jambles team also welcome Steven Kreamer as their new musical director, who is currently featured in The Drowsy Chaperone at the Hayes Theatre Co.
