Fusing lush cello with atmospheric electroni cs and an ensemble of elegant dancers, this show urges you to take in the breathtaking movements and discover a new ethereal world crafted by Sydney Dance Company.
This intensely commanding work is the brainchild of Sydney Dance Company’s Artistic Director, Rafael Bonachela. A renowned leader within the high art and popular culture space, Bonachela’s repertoire spans from hosting his work in major international galleries to collaborating with famed musicians including, Kylie Minogue, Sarah Blasco, Katie Noonan, Tina Turner and The Sixteen on top of choreographing dozens of award-winning dance pieces for various companies across the globe.
ab(intra) premiered in Sydney in May 2018 and has toured with rave reviews around Australia as well as Austalia, Finland , Poland, Spain and France .
