‘Why Am I So Single?’ Hits the West End This Autumn

Big news for theatre enthusiasts! The dynamic duo behind the hit musical Six, Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, are bringing their fresh and funny new musical, ‘Why Am I So Single?’, to the West End this autumn. This isn’t just any musical; it packs a meta-theatrical punch, offering a hilarious yet poignant look at the lives of two writers/friends navigating the choppy waters of love in the age of online dating and social intricacies.

After a series of ticketed workshops last year at Sadler’s Wells that had audiences raving, Marlow and Moss are ready to take their latest creation to the next level. ‘Why Am I So Single?’ is a candid exploration of friendship, the quest for love, and the sheer absurdity of feeling alone in a hyper-connected world. The creators shared their excitement, hoping audiences leave the theatre feeling uplifted and inspired to spread some love.

Mark your calendars for 27 August 2024, because that’s when the magic begins at the Garrick Theatre, with performances scheduled until 13 February 2025. Plus, the production is making theatre accessible to everyone, with special audio-described, BSL interpreted, and captioned performances on the horizon.

Leading the cast will be Jo Foster, returning from the workshop phase, alongside Leesa Tulley, with Noah Thomas and an ensemble yet to be announced. Under Moss’s direction and with a stellar creative team on board, this musical promises to be a standout event of the season.

Don’t miss your chance to experience this blend of laughter, music, and heart. ‘Why Am I So Single?’ might just have you texting your loved ones with a burst of affection as soon as you step out of the theatre. Stay tuned for more updates on this must-see musical comedy!
