Bill Diggins, whose Diggit Theatrical Group is mounting the show, said the musical will explore ‘not only TLC’s groundbreaking music but also the sisterhood and challenges that shaped their journey.’

Band Involvement and Storyline
While the level of direct involvement from surviving members Tionne ‘T‑Boz’ Watkins and Rozonda ‘Chilli’ Thomas has not been fully disclosed, both have endorsed the project. Watkins described bringing TLC’s story to the stage as ‘a dream come true,’ and Thomas confirmed the narrative will blend ‘mostly fact with a sprinkle of fiction.’

The production will also commemorate the late Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, who died in 2002, by dramatizing her role in TLC’s creative legacy.

TLC’s influence spans decades: their fourth album, 3D, was released posthumously in 2002; the group relaunched in 2015 via a record‑breaking Kickstarter campaign that raised $430,255; and their self‑titled album arrived in June 2017.
