The Phantom of the Opera North American Tour Completes Casting Ahead of November Launch
Casting is now complete for the upcoming North American tour of The Phantom of the Opera, which will open on 7 November 2025 at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore.
The iconic musical will star Isaiah Bailey as the Phantom, Jordan Lee Gilbert as Christine Daaé, and Daniel Lopez as Raoul. They will be joined by Midori Marsh as Carlotta Giudicelli, William Thomas Evans as Monsieur Firmin, Carrington Vilmont as Monsieur André, Lisa Vroman as Madame Giry, Christopher Bozeka as Ubaldo Piangi, Melo Ludwig as Meg Giry, and Alexa Xioufaridou Moster, who will alternate as Christine at certain performances.
The newly announced company includes James Channing (Joseph Buquet), Carlyn Connolly (Madame Firmin), Keenan English (Hannibal’s Guard/Shepherd), David Young Fernandez (Hairdresser), Alyssa Giannetti (Page), Stanley Glover (Hannibal’s Guard/Shepherd), Matthew Griffin (Marksman), Jeremy Harr (Don Attilio), Olivia McMillan (Wild Woman), Evelyn Mê-Linh (Princess), Ben Roseberry (Auctioneer/Monsieur Reyer), Alexandria Shiner (Confidante), Dennis Shuman (Jeweler), Donovan E. Smith (Passarino), Stephen Tewksbury (Monsieur LeFèvre/Fire Chief), and Krista Wigle (Wardrobe Mistress).
The Ballet Chorus of the Opéra Populaire will feature Aloria Adams, Kayla Goldsberry, Eureka Nakano, Jennifer Gruener, Liv Mitchell, and Charlotte Oceana. Scott Mikita, Trista Moldovan, Bronson Norris Murphy, Camila Rodrigues, Lacy Sauter, and Andy Tighe will serve as swings.
This touring version is a reimagined production based on the staging that premiered at London’s His Majesty’s Theatre in 2021. Directed by Seth Sklar-Heyn (based on Harold Prince’s original direction) with choreography by Gillian Lynne(adapted by Chrissie Cartwright), the production retains Maria Bjornson’s original designs, adapted by Matt Kinleywith associate costume design by Jill Parker.
Behind the scenes, stage management is led by Jovon E. Shuck, with resident director Dalia Ashurina, and company management by Justin A. Sweeney and Ryan Mayfield. The tour will feature a 38-person cast and a 14-piece orchestra, ensuring a grand-scale production for audiences across North America.
The longest-running Broadway show in history, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera continues to captivate audiences worldwide with its timeless story of love and obsession. Featuring songs such as The Music of the Night, All I Ask of You, Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again, Masquerade, and the unforgettable title number, this tour promises to deliver all the spectacle and romance that has made the musical a global phenomenon.
