The highly anticipated Broadway revival of Sunset Boulevard has revealed its full cast, ahead of preview performances starting September 28 at the St. James Theatre, with the official opening night set for October 20.
Leading the production is Nicole Scherzinger, taking on the iconic role of Norma Desmond. She will be joined by Olivier Award-winner Tom Francis as Joe Gillis, WhatsOnStage Award-winner Grace Hodgett-Young as Betty Schaefer, and Olivier nominee David Thaxton as Max Von Mayerling. Additionally, Mandy Gonzalez will perform as Norma Desmond one night per week, with Caroline Bowman standing by for the role.
The ensemble cast includes Olivia Lacie Andrews as Nancy, Brandon Mel Borkowsky as John, Shavey Brown as Finance Man/Stan/DeMille, Hannah Yun Chamberlain as Young Norma, Cydney Clark as Joanna/Guard, Raúl Contreras as Finance Man/Frank, Tyler Davis as Sheldrake, E J Hamilton as Lisa, Sydney Jones as Dorothy, Emma Lloyd as Mary/Heather, Pierre Marais as Sammy, Shayna McPherson as Camera Operator/Katherine, Jimin Moon as Morino/Hog Eye, Justice Moore as Jean, Drew Redington as Myron/Jones/Camera Operator, and Diego Andres Rodriguez as Artie.
Swings for the production include Giuseppe Bausilio (dance captain), Kristina Garvida Doucette (assistant dance captain), Brandon LaVar, Maggie Likcani, Abby Matsusaka, and Rixey Terry.
Directed by Jamie Lloyd with choreography by Fabian Aloise, this revival of the classic musical features a score by Andrew Lloyd Webber, with a book and lyrics by Don Black and Christopher Hampton. The production’s creative team also includes Soutra Gilmour (set and costume design), Jack Knowles (lighting design), Adam Fisher (sound design), and Nathan Amzi and Joe Ransom (video design and cinematography). Alan Williams serves as the music supervisor and musical director.
Sunset Boulevard, based on the iconic film by Billy Wilder, is set to captivate audiences once again with its star-studded cast and innovative production.
