Exciting News for Theatre Buffs: ‘Babies’ Cast Announced with a Sprinkle of ‘Heartstopper’ Magic

Attention, theatre lovers and ‘Heartstopper’ fans! The casting for the eagerly awaited musical, ‘Babies,’ has been revealed, causing quite the stir. Created by the talented Jack Godfrey and Martha Geelan, ‘Babies’ delves into the amusing yet thought-provoking lives of year 11 pupils engaged in a sex education project, complete with those uncannily lifelike fake babies. Sound familiar?

After delighting crowds with three sold-out concerts in the West End last year, ‘Babies’ is set to elevate the experience with its first full-scale production at The Other Palace this May. And, we’ve got the lowdown on the cast!

Let’s roll out the red carpet for the cast highlights: Ashley Goh will be taking on the role of Alex, whilst Bradley Riches, adored for his role as James in ‘Heartstopper,’ is poised to enchant us as Toby. Grace Towning joins the cast in a versatile role, covering Leah, Grace, and Becky, making her professional debut in style. The cast also includes talents like Jaina Brock-Patel as Becky and Lauren Conroy as Jasmine, among others, ready to bring this quirky narrative to life.

But there’s more – several cast members, including Goh, Brock-Patel, Conroy, Phillips, and Carter, are no strangers to ‘Babies,’ having proven their worth during the show’s concert stint at the Lyric Theatre last November.

Produced by Indigo Productions and Crossroads Live, with an original commission by BYMT, ‘Babies’ is shaping up to be the hot topic. Keep your eyes peeled for more details on the show and how you can secure your tickets to catch this mix of humour, adolescence, and, indeed, baby drama, live on stage!
