First seen in Chicago in 2001, then Off Broadway in 2002, Brown’s two-hander tracks a five-year relationship from two directions, Cathy’s story moving backward, Jamie’s moving forward. The musical has played around the world and was adapted for film in 2014 starring Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan.
Platt will play Jamie and Zegler will play Cathy for a week of concert performances celebrating a quarter century of the show. The production is presented by Lambert Jackson with LW Tickets.
The creative team includes musical director Leo Munby and associate director Emma Butler. Brown’s score features audience favourites including “Still Hurting”, “The Schmuel Song”, “If I Didn’t Believe in You” and “Goodbye Until Tomorrow”.
Further casting, ticketing and on-sale details will be announced by the producers.
