Set in 1950s Sydney, the story follows James, a man caught between mundane domesticity and the raunchy burlesque underground. The show features fantastic risqué dance numbers and solid performances by all cast members. Leads Troy Harrison and Zoe Trilsbach have great chemistry onstage. While the story occasionally gets bogged down in predictability and cliché, the sassy subject matter, snappy dialogue and burlesque dances create an engaging theatre experience.
