Working Class Man comes to the theatre in Harvest Rain’s Newest Production – Working

Working – Harvest Rain

Harvest Rain interns will make their way to the stage this month with a musical entitled Working which features the 2012 Musical Theatre Interns.

Set around the joys and concerns of the working class, Working is a production from Stephen Swartz, the writer of Wicked and Godspell based on the Studs Terkel book Working: People Talk About What They Do All Day and How They Feel About What They Do (1974).

Choreographed by Brisbane’s talented Callum Mansfield and directed by Catharine Hebbard Working paints a vivid portrait of the men and women the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the parking lot attendant, the waitress, the mill worker, the mason, the trucker, the fireman, the housewife to name a few.

When: 15th to 18th August 2012
