Western Sydney University partners with Actors Centre Australia to launch world-class performing arts program

Western Sydney University and Actors Centre Australia (ACA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aiming to revitalise performing arts education in Western Sydney.

In partnership, the University and ACA will collaborate to cultivate a new generation of performing artists equipped with both foundational knowledge and practical skills.

The collaboration underscores both institutions’ dedication to fostering cultural enrichment, economic growth, and community engagement in Western Sydney.

Western Sydney University Vice-Chancellor and President, Distinguished Professor George Williams AO, said the partnership will position Western Sydney as a premier destination for performing arts education.

Future initiatives under the partnership would enable students to learn in an innovative and inclusive model, having access to state-of-the-art facilities such as the University’s advanced theatre, recording studios and media labs.
