Together Apart is your new Australian jam

A new Australian song cycle is always good news. Getting to hear it on an album might be even better news, so everyone across the country can access it. And now one has been released!

Nick & Lincoln

Together Apart, the song cycle by Nick & Lincoln we’ve been telling you about, is now available on iTunes!

It’s made up of sixteen songs that look at “the connections we make in life, with family and friends, lovers and strangers. It includes a broad range of musical styles, from jazz to pop to music theatre ballad.”

There are even a few music videos of the songs available on youtube.

Here’s Ross Chisari performing “Back To You,” to get you into the mood for the cycle:

On the album, Nick & Lincoln are joined by twenty-two Australian musical theatre talents – and you’re going to recognise these names. There’s a Rizzo, a Vanessa, a Mrs Wormwood, A Lt. Cable, A Marius, a Javert, an Ann Darrow, a J.D, and much more…

They include Annie Aitken, Marika Aubrey, Bianca Baykara, Blake Bowden, Ross Chisari, Euan Doidge, Alex Gibson-Giorgio, Linda Hale, Esther Hannaford, Erin James, Gareth Keegan, Naomi Livingston, Stephen Madsen, Rob Mallett, Lucy Maunder, Laura Murphy, Christina O’Neill, Jess Pollard, Ashleigh Rubenach, Angela Scundi, Flip Simmons and Hayden Tee.
