The Production Company’s 2009 season continues this weekend with The Boy Friend opening at the State Theatre in Melbourne on Wednesday night.
The show features a top line-up of Australian theatre stars, including Rhonda Burchmore, Tim Campbell, Esther Hannaford, Alex Rathgeber, Robyn Arthur, Kellie Rode, Christie Whelan, Robert Grubb and Grant Smith.
Directed by Gary Young, the show perfectly captures the 1920’s and includes the hit songs ‘Won’t You Charleston With Me?’, ‘The Boy Friend’, ‘I Could be Happy With You’ and ‘It’s Never Too Late to Fall in Love’.
