Supreme Dreams

  ARIA STORY -Like many performers, Paul and Leslie met at an audition: except Paul was auditioning for Leslie. Leslie was casting for her Pavarotti tribute show, Pavarotti Viva, and was floored by Paul’s voice. At the age of only 22, even though he had spent three years studying and performing music theatre at CQU and only 6 months working on operatic repertoire, it was obvious to Leslie, an experienced opera professional, that Paul had the makings of an international opera career. As their friendship and working relationship grew, Leslie discovered Paul had more than just a talent for opera and music theatre, he was also a savvy event manager. Together they formed the High C’s, Australia’s Premier vocal duo singing the classics with style, passion and high notes, which they managed as well as performed in. 
It was while organising an event early in 2011 that the idea for the Supreme Dreams came to Leslie. While trying to source a tribute band for an event, it became obvious that the majority of the tributes involved male performers with only one or two tributes to solo female singers. It was then that Leslie realised there was a need for an all girl group singing the hits from the 60s. Who could resist three gorgeous girls in fabulous 60s outfits singing these exciting and memorable songs? After some market research and a lot of research into the motown genre, The Supreme Dreams were born.
At that stage, Paul and Leslie were organising events separately, but with Paul’s involvement in the High C’s and his advice and support during the creation of The Supreme Dreams, it became obvious to the two friends that they should formalise their excellent working relationship into Aria Productions. Even though Paul currently performs as a Supporting Principal in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sequel to The Phantom Of The Opera “Love Never Dies” and Leslie is an internationally practicing Coloratura Soprano, Aria Productions is Australia’s most promising Entertainment and Events Business.
