Steven Brinberg is Simply Barbra

Stephen Brinberg in Simply Barbara

New York cabaret artist Steven Brinberg has the seal of approval from Barbra herself – so you know this one’s going to be good.

Simply Barbra, a tribute to possibly the world’s most beloved songstress, has won numerous awards and sold out tours all over the world. Presented by Luckiest Productions, the show makes a return to Australia this month with limited seasons in Sydney and Melbourne.

Under the expertise of acclaimed musical director Mark Chamberlain, Brinberg recreates Streisand’s most famous songs live, coupled with a little bit of audience participation and a lot of comedy.

This is a hilarious and affectionate pastiche that is not to be missed.

Simply Barbra plays at Slide in Sydney from tonight (20 June) until 22 June, 2012.

The show will also play a season at Chapel off Chapel in Melbourne from 28 – 30 June.

Check out www.slide.com.au or www.chapeloffchapel.com.au for more information.
