Aussie talent risks it all for a good cause at Celebrity Theatresports

Julia Zermiro and cast of Celebrity Theatresports

Get ready to see celebrities as you’ve never seen them before, Sydney. Celebrity Theatresports is set to take over the Enmore Theatre on July 21 for one night only with a little fun-raising fund-raising!

The best improvisers in the country join forces with Aussie celebrities of film, TV, and sport to create live comedy scenes from your suggestions. While you’re watching the shenanigans unfold as they make stuff up for your entertainment, you’ll be helping to raise money for CanTeen, the Australian organisation for young people living with cancer.

Just like channel Seven’s Thank God You’re Here and the Comedy Channel’s Whose Line Is It Anyway? this is hilarious, fast-paced comedy with no scripts… and anything can happen! See the panic, smell the fear, laugh ’til it hurts and help raise money for a great cause!

Lining up to take on the theatresports challenge are Andrew O’Keefe (Deal or No Deal), Craig Reucassel (The Chaser) Adam Spencer (702-ABC), Rob Carlton (Paper Giants), Lisa Gormley (Home and Away), Gabby Millagate (comic), Dan Ilic (Hungry Beast) and Gary Eck (comic).

Their all-star impro comic team-mates include Carlo Ritchie, Dave Callan, Jon Williams, Susie Youssef, Lisa Ricketts, Bridie Connell, Monique Dykstra and Cale Bain, with musical improvising maestro Bryce Halliday on keys.  Directing is Rebecca De Unamuno,  Cale Bain producer.

Tickets and booking information at ticketek.com.au. All proceeds to CanTeen.org.au
