A huge array of stars, including international composer Stephen Schwartz, will line up for this year’s Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
This year’s Festival will be held from June 11 to June 26.
Amongst the shows on offer, Caroline O’Connor will perform in A Musical Life, a bio-type show that will feature musical theatre classics by legends like Kander and Ebb, Jerry Herman, Stephen Sondheim and Leonard Bernstein. The show will play homage to some of the inspirational ladies of song including Judy Garland, Edith Piaf, Ethel Merman and more.
David Harris will perform Til The night Is Gone, inspired by his debut album of the same name. The show will feature plenty of great musical theatre stands and is billed as an intimate evening with one of musical theatre’s most acclaimed leading men.
Trevor Ashley, Alex Rathgeber, John Waters, Marika Aubrey, Robyn Archer, Tim Rogers and Mitchell Butel are amongst the other performers at the Festival.
Without doubt the biggest drawcard is on June 23 when Stephen Schwartz makes an appearance for what will be an exclusive journey through the career of a legend.
Meanwhile, American superstar Natalie Cole will perform two exclusive concerts at the Festival.
