Space Jump Theatre Company present Laura Lethlean’s ‘Two Hearts’ at Flight Path Theatre Sydney

Space Jump Theatre Company invites you to experience the poetic brilliance of Two Hearts by Australian playwright Laura Lethlean. Running from 18th – 29th March 2025 at Flight Path Theatre, 142 Addison Road, Marrickville, this production offers an engaging and heartfelt theatre experience.

Two Hearts by Australian playwright Laura Lethlean is a beautifully simple yet profoundly poetic exploration of love, connection, and the complexities of relationships. Anchored against the backdrop of a recurring party in an inner-city townhouse, the play follows a young couple, “Her” and “Him,” as they navigate the evolving terrain of their relationship.

Guided by a mysterious third presence, whose haunting influence forces them to confront their past, challenge their choices, and consider their future, this guardian-like figure weaves through their story, creating tension and offering profound insight into the difficult decisions they must make about love and connection. Under Kirsty Semaan’s direction, Two Hearts transforms into an emotionally charged experience that lays bare the beauty and fragility of love.

The stripped-back set and dramatic lighting enhances the story’s intimacy, creating an exposed, shared space where every glance and touch resonates deeply. Two Hearts immerses the audience in the rawness of human connection, leaving them reflecting on the choices we make, the connections we choose, and how those choices shape the course of our lives.

Space Jump Theatre Company is committed to producing powerful, thought-provoking works and getting impactful plays off shelves and back into theatres, and Two Hearts exemplifies this mission.
