Today, producers have announced that the upcoming Australian tour of Sondheim on Sondheim will be cancelled:
Due to inclement weather conditions in both Queensland and New South Wales which have subsequently affected audience numbers and ticket sales, producers of Sondheim on Sondheim have made the difficult decision to cancel the upcoming Australian tour. Ticket holders will be contacted in the coming days with relevant refund information.
Originally produced on Broadway in 2010 and hailed as a “revelatory revue full of wonderful moments”, the Tony nominated production of Sondheim on Sondheim is an intimate portrait of the much-loved songwriter in his own words and music. Through the use of exclusive interview footage, audiences experience Sondheim songs in a whole new exciting way.
So disappointed! I was really looking forward to this show!
