Something Wicked this way comes…

In another announcment of incredible female-centric news for 2016, four much-loved Witches from previous Australian and international casts of Wicked will take to the Sydney stage together to present a program of stage and screen favourites.

Playing a limited two day season at the Sydney Opera House on 15 & 16 July, Amanda Harrison, Helen Dallimore, Jemma Rix, and Lucy Durack will perform a program featuring songs of “magic, persuasion and power”, from popular musical theatre and film. The women will present a range of individual and group performances, and will be musically directed by Kellie Dickerson, a talented industry leader and fellow Wicked alum.

Accompanied by the magnificent Sydney Symphony Orchestra, this event is one that should not be missed – you might even say that audiences will be changed for good.

Tickets go on sale starting 9am tomorrow, 18 December, and can be booked at this link.

Fingers crossed that we get to see another Witch Switch!

Maddi is a performer who has been too scared to stand in the spotlight for the last few years, so she channels her need for love and appreciation into writing about the theatre instead. An energetic consumer of musical theatre, she is currently earning a degree in journalism and teaches voice in her small hometown. Maddi is normally covered in cat fur, has an opinion on everything, and in the words of Lin-Manuel Miranda, is not throwing away her shot.
