AussieTheatre.com understands that the smash hit musical Rock of Ages has donated $25 000 to the Good Friday Appeal.
The Good Friday Appeal is a unique fundraising activity which raises money for The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. The appeal started in 1931 and over its 80 year history has donated over $211 million to the hospital. Organisers of the 2011 event hope to top the record amount of $14,462,000 raised in 2010.
Representatives from Rock of Ages were seen on the Telethon, pledging their hefty contribution of $25 000.
