Plied and Prejudice extends Perth season one final time due to high demand

After selling out in Brisbane and London, the Perth run of Plied and Prejudice is packing out just as quickly. With the first five weeks completely sold out, the season has been extended one final time until Sunday 26 October. No encores. No excuses. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

If you missed out on the tickets you wanted the first time (or the second or third) – you’re in luck: you’ve got one last chance. If you’ve already booked – consider coming back. With one cast member randomly “indisposed” each night, it’s a fresh hot mess every single time.

Producer Alex Woodward, from Woodward Productions:

We’ve had people come back two, three, even seven times in other cities – and now Perth finally gets it. With the first five weeks sold out, this final extension is your last shot. There won’t be any more chances – book now or forever regret your sobriety.

Helen Stewart, Manager at His Majesty’s Theatre:

The response has been completely wild – Perth has turned out in force, and now we’re giving everyone one final chance to experience the madness.

No more extensions. This is your cue to grab a ticket, grab a drink, and join the chaos while you still can. This is a unique experience for Perth and a thrilling moment for us at His Majesty’s Theatre. Our underground Bar 825 is serving up grab-n-go goodies and refreshing drinks to patrons – including prosecco & champagne to add a little fizz to the festivities. Order from your table via the barcode so you don’t even have to get up and risk missing part of the show.

The show’s exclusive corporate experience, Darcy’s Den, has also proven a hit with Perth businesses snapping up the private parlour for team nights, social club outings, client schmoozing and a little after-hours impropriety. From law firms to latte slingers, groups across the city have been escaping the office for a night of gin, gossip, and Regency-era rebellion. With limited availability remaining, now’s the time to rally your colleagues and secure a soirée that’s anything but standard.

The Lady Catherine De Bourgh’s Honoured Guests seats were snapped up faster than you can say “marry rich,” so if you’re chasing the royal treatment, best move swiftly. Thankfully, a fresh batch of Pauper tickets – starting at just $30 – has been unleashed for the final stretch. Perfect for the fiscally modest and the delightfully disorderly.

Whether you’re here for the bubbles, the Bennet drama, or the blatant disregard for dry shirts, one thing’s certain: this isn’t the Austen you endured in high school. From now until 26 October, all ranks – and all rascals – are welcome.
