Plied and Prejudice extends Perth season due to unruly demand

After selling out in Brisbane and London (yes, we’re bragging again), Plied and Prejudice is gearing up to open in Perth – and thanks to unruly demand before the curtain has even risen, the season has been extended until 28 September.

If you missed out on the tickets you wanted the first time – you’re welcome, cause you’re getting a second chance. If you’ve already booked – consider coming back. With one cast member randomly “indisposed” each night, it’s a fresh hot mess every single time.

Producer Alex Woodward, from Woodward Productions:

In other markets we had guests coming multiple times throughout the season excited to see a completely different interpretation each time. We’ve seen lots of people coming two or three times, often with different groups of friends – I think the record was 7 times from a couple in Brisbane!

Helen Stewart, Manager at His Majesty’s Theatre:

This is a unique experience for Perth and a thrilling moment for us at His Majesty’s Theatre! Our underground Bar 825 will be serving up grab-n-go goodies and refreshing drinks to patrons — including prosecco & champagne to add a little fizz to the festivities.

The Lady Catherine De Bourgh’s Honoured Guests tickets sold out quickly, so don’t delay if that’s the experience you are after. More Pauper tickets from just $30 have also been released for the extended run – ideal for the financially-challenged and the recreationally rowdy.

Whether you’re in it for the prosecco, the proposal scenes, or the potential for public shirt-soaking, this is not your standard Year 12 English Austen. From now until 28 September, every class (and class-clown) is welcome.
