Opera Queensland presents Carols in the Common

For the first time The Common, West Village will be collaborating with Opera Queensland to host a spectacular night under the stars filled with Christmas cheer.

Carols in The Common will feature everyone’s treasured Christmas melodies sung by some of the best operatic voices in Queensland, including celebrated baritone Jason Barry Smith on Wednesday 4 December from 5:30pm.

From traditional tunes to delightfully different carols from around the globe, audiences can experience magnificent voices and bask in luscious harmonies in a glorious outdoor setting surrounded by gently twinkling lights.

Much loved baritone Jason Barry-Smith will compère the event, including a rousing medley for everyone to sing. Camerata – Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra, will welcome guests on arrival and join the cast for a very special finale.

This event is taking place at The Common, West Village on Wednesday 4 December from 5:30pm to 7pm
