One Month Left to see Plied and Prejudice

You’ve got one month. That’s it. The wildly unruly, gin-soaked, shirt-drenched season of Plied and Prejudice must close Sunday 26 October – and there will be no more extensions. If you’ve been waiting, procrastinating, or pretending to check your calendar, this is your final warning.

Perth has turned up in full force for this boozy Regency romp. The first five weeks sold out in a frenzy – and now, with less than 30 days to go, the final tickets are evaporating faster than Darcy’s dignity in a wet t-shirt contest.

And here’s the twist in the corset: 2025 marks the 250th birthday of Jane Austen herself. What better way to toast the queen of wit than with a champagne in hand and a thoroughly improper adaptation in front of you?

Producer Alex Woodward:

This is your chance to raise a glass to Jane – and then throw it back .  There will be no encores, no latecomers, no surprise pop-up shows. This is Perth’s final fling with Plied and Prejudice – celebrate her milestone birthday in true Austen style: drunk, dramatic and mildly inappropriate.

Helen Stewart from His Majesty’s Theatre adds:

Perth audiences have been insatiable – in the best way. And we love them for it. But this is it. Four weeks left. When these final seats are gone, they’re gone.

Whether you’re here for the Bennet drama, the prosecco, or the puddles of Regency-era regret – you’ve got one month to live a little improperly.

Final tickets are available now via His Majesty’s Theatre website – including a fresh handful of $30 Pauper seats for the fiscally modest and morally flexible. Honourable guests (or those who fake it well) can still secure Lady Catherine De Bourgh’s Honoured seats – if they move quicker than a mother with five unmarried daughters.

And for those seeking status, scandal, and a private parlour – Darcy’s Den is the final word in late-night luxury. Corporate crews, birthday brigades and social rebels – this is your moment.

One month to go. One legendary author to toast. One gloriously unhinged show.

Jane Austen turns 250 – this is your chance to celebrate her birthday in the way she definitely didn’t intend.
