AussieTheatre.com is thrilled to announce a very special featured column for our readers – a WICKED blog for the Asian tour! 

Keep your eyes peeled for our brand new regular column direct from the cast of Wicked in Singapore, starting this week!

Featuring updates, anecdotes and the real-life adventures of blogger Chris Scalzo (ensemble/Boq cover – pictured) and the Wicked team – AussieTheatre.com readers will have the chance to learn more about LIFE UPON THE WICKED STAGE.

Chris Scalzo has recently joined the Wicked cast after appearing in the Original Cast of the Des McAnuff directed epic Doctor Zhivago (GFO/Anita Waxman).

He studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), and has appeared in The Chaos Fairy, The Pirates of Penzance (Opera Australia), Jekyll and Hyde (TML Enterprises) and featuring in the Original Australian Cast of Adam Guettel’s Floyd Collins (Meredith Shaw).  

Chris has also toured the USA with the Original Cast of Frank and Bryant’s The Silver Donkey (Echelon), including playing an Off-Broadway season with The York Theatre Company. He was a Grand Finalist in the 7th Annual Cabaret Showcase and also the 2nd Aussie Theatre Rising Star Award. He can be heard on the Cast Recordings for both The Chaos Fairy and The Silver Donkey.
