Natalie Portly and Fat Swan return to Melbourne

Trevor Ashley as Natalie Portly in Fat Swan

Trevor Ashley has long been dubbed the busiest man in showbusiness – and it’s not hard to see why.

After completing the Sydney season of his Adults-Only Panto Fat Swan just months ago, he began filming a brand new pilot season The Very Trevor Ashley Show. No sooner had filming wrapped, he was on a plane to Melbourne to rehearse the role of Franz Liebkind in The Producers at the State Theatre, Arts Centre Melbourne.

Following The Producers, Trevor and his alter-ego Natalie Portly will return to the Melbourne stage in the highly acclaimed Adults-Only Panto Fat Swan, but this time he brings new friends.

Genevieve Lemon, Helpmann winning star of Billy Elliott, fresh from a two-year stint on the West End, will play Natalie’s demented mother, Barbara Hershey-Bar. Starring opposite Trevor and Genevieve is TV’s Brendan Moar and Jersey Boys’ Danielle Barnes.

The strictly limited return season will play at the Fairfax Studio from Wednesday 26 September until Saturday 6 October.
