Live and Unplugged this Monday at Slide

Broadway Unplugged and Slide have joined forces this week for a special one time only event featuring some of Sydney’s top performers in cabaret and musical theatre.

Slide’s traditional Monday Night Live and Broadway Unplugged’s monthly event are combining on Monday 27 August for a special industry event – Live and Unplugged.

Jam packed with guest artists and a special open mic night to boot, Live and Unplugged is set to raise the roof at Slide Lounge on Oxford Street this Monday 27 August.

Doors will open at 7pm for dinner and drinks and the Live and Unplugged will commence at 8pm. Appearing this week will be Andrew Conaghan and Michael Lindner from the cast of South Pacific, darlings of the cabaret stage Avigail Herman, Fiona Sullivan and Natalie Gamsu, 11 part a capella group Opera Unlaced and the wonderful PJ Lane.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be teaming up with Monday Night Live for ‘Live & Unplugged’. You’d be hard pressed to find a better Sydney cabaret venue than Slide and we’re super excited about the extremely talented features line up”, said Co-Producer of the event Stephen Doorey.

“Online open-mic registration is at capacity, there may be a few spare spots available on the night, it’s definitely going to be a huge event.”

General entry is free, with $10 reserved seating per person available for those wishing to guarantee a seat!
