In The Heights stars hope the new movie will encourage audiences to celebrate life

International Grammy nominee Leslie Grace and Mexico City theatre star Melissa Barrera are hot-stepping their way to superstardom thanks to Lin-Manuel Miranda’s In The Heights. In a new interview with Popcorn Podcast, the actresses shared more about their roles as Nina (Grace) and Vanessa (Barrera), and what featuring in the musical adaptation means for LatinX representation and the film industry as a whole.

In The Heights is in Australian cinemas from June 24.
