I Will Survive reveals contestants

I Will Survive, the new search for a triple threat superstar with a purely Australian twist, has revealed the identity of its twelve contestants ahead of its Tuesday night debut on Channel 10.

After performing the role of the Phantom in Love Never Dies more than 40 times, Matt McFarlane is part of the search for Australia’s next triple threat

Seeking Australia’s best singer, dancer and actor (with a talent for Priscilla Queen of the Desert‘s trademark drag), I Will Survive boards the iconic silver bus to tour through outback Australia, the contestants engaging in performance challenges along the way.

The twelve contestants from the world of performance getting ready to make their debut on the big screen are Matt McFarlane (Guys and Dolls, Love Never Dies – pictured), Sean Perez, Rohan Mack Seinor (Priscilla Queen of the Desert), Nathan Foley (Hi 5), Adrian Espulso (Ben Hur), Tom Sharah (Nick and Nora, Que Sera, Sharah), Brenden Hanson (Les Miserables), Frank Kerr, Davin Griffiths-Jones (Star Search), Stephen Mahy (Jersey Boys), Michael Snell (Wicked, Hairspray), and Jamie Crews Jewell (Cats).

I Will Survive also features host Hugh Sheridan and judges Jason Donovan and Priscilla creator Stephan Elliott. A glittering list of Australian A-listers will lend their talents to the series as guest judges, including Toni Collette, Asher Keddie and Magda Szubanski.

I Will Survive kicks off the exciting, all-singing, all-dancing, all-acting ride on Turesday, 21 August at 7:30pm on Channel 10.
