La Boite Indie and Margi Brown Ash bring us Home; a journey through the life of the actor, therapist, wife and mother that will lead audiences to grapple with their own sense of isolation and belonging.
Brown Ash and Co-Deviser/Director Leah Mercer (a fruitful collaboration that has drawn much praise for the recent production of Eve) return to the Brisbane stage bringing Margi’s youngest son, Travis into the fray. They will uncover the ‘extraordinariness of ordinary life’.
Embracing fragmented myth and storytelling, Home promises to be ‘Moving and uplifting theatre… both your story and mine, someone’s and everyone’s, timely and timeless’.
Home is number four of six productions for La Boite Indie 2012 – the increasingly popular program that aims to create a sustainable, cultivated and close knit culture for the Brisbane independent theatre scene.
Showing at La Boite’s Roundhouse theatre from July 18-28, tickets for Home can be booked online at www.laboite.com.au or by phoning the box office on 07-3007-8600.
