What better way to spend an afternoon than with showtunes and champagne?

Arts Centre Melbourne’s High Tea Live (previously known as Jazz High Tea) offers an outstanding program of well known performers over a glass of bubbly and a delicious lunch. The menu includes a strawberry tart with crème patisserie, passionfruit and white chocolate panna cotta with streusel, a rich chocolate brownie with chocolate mousse, and scones with jam and cream. On Sunday 1st September, Michael Cormick will be performing at Arts Centre Melbourne’s Pavilion.

A well known name in the Australian musical theatre industry, some of Michael’s long list of credits include The Beast (Beauty And The Beast, winning an Australian MO Award), Munkunstrap (Cats), Joe Gillis (Sunset Boulevard), The Pirate King (The Pirates of Penzance), and the title role in The Phantom Of The Opera. Internationally, he has reprised his role as The Phantom, as well as performing in Evita, Chess, The Woman in White, and Calamity Jane.

Michael will perform songs from some of his favourite musicals, as well as sharing some personal stories from his experience as a performer both in Australia and internationally.
