The Production Company’s final show in their 2011 season, Grey Gardens, opens tonight at the Arts Centre, Melbourne.

Starring Pamela Rabe and Nancye Hayes, this production is set to raise the bar on Production Company shows.

Musical Director Kellie Dickerson and her 10 piece orchestra will tune up in the Playhouse this evening, with the down beat commencing at 7:30pm.

Dickerson describes the show as “complicated contemporary piece of musical theatre” and has praised her cast, which includes James Millar, Liz Stiles, Bert La Bonte and Alex Rathgeber as “very clever artists, musicians and actors”.

Following the performance, invited guests will attend a post performance reception in the Playhouse Foyer.
