Darlinghurst Theatre Company’s 2019 programme boasts the honour of presenting the Sydney premiere of Once, the musical based on the 2007 indie film of the same name. This week, the full cast has finally been confirmed for the highly anticipated production.
“Once asks for so much from the actors who perform it. Not only do they need to tell this beautiful story every night with truth, passion and humour – they also need to sing the exceptional songs with all of the same qualities. AND they are their own band, so every one of them needs to be an exceptional instrumentalist. I’m blown away by the capabilities of the cast we have assembled for Once, who seem to embody all of these talents effortlessly, and with a heart-melting Czech-Irish wink.” Said Carroll.
Once will play from 26 June – 21 July 2019 at The Eternity Playhouse. Tickets are available on (02) 8356 9987 or by visiting: Darlinghursttheatre.com
