Eternity Playhouse available for hire

One of the most exciting things to happen in Sydney theatre lately has been the unveiling of the Eternity Playhouse in Darlinghurst – the renovated Baptist Tabernacle that has been transformed into a 200 seat theatre.

The New Eternity Theatre for Darlinghurst Theatre Co

As a part its vision to develop Oxford Street into a cultural quarter, the City of Sydney began the renovations in 2008 after a consultation process with the local community about how best to utilise the building.

Eternity Playhouse opened its doors in November 2013 and is home to resident company Darlinghurst Theatre Company, which presents a diverse season of innovative and exceptional theatre throughout the year.

And now it’s up for hire!

Being so close to Oxford Sreet and the Sydney CBD, the Eternity is potentially a unique, intimate corporate events venue. The venue could be used for theatre style presentations such as product launches, staff training sessions, AGMs, presentations, fashion shows, corporate entertaining or seminars.

The 200-seater comes fully equipped with the latest AV and lighting equipment. The stunning lobby can be used for pre and post event networking for up to 250 guests, or hired as a single space with catering packages and bar facilities on hand. Corporate entertainment ‘theatre and dinner’ style packages are available.

If you are interested in booking the Eternity Playhouse, please contact the resident company, Darlinghurst Theatre Co.

Phone Rebecca Michel on (02) 9331 3107, email rebecca@darlinghursttheatre.com, or visit the website – www.darlinghursttheatre.com.
