Dylan Moran to stream his latest comedy show, DR COSMOS, on May 8th

On Saturday 8th May, comedy fans in Australia and around the world will be able to enjoy a performance of Dylan Moran’s hilarious latest show, ‘Dr Cosmos’, from the comfort of their living rooms.

Filmed on the Brisbane date of ‘Dr Cosmos’, Moran’s 2019 worldwide tour, the show will stream as live via DICE on Saturday 8th May, with the set beginning at 8:00pm. This special presentation of the show will feature an exclusive introduction by Dylan Moran and gives comedy fans the opportunity to enjoy the ‘Dr Cosmos’ tour online for the first time ever.  E-tickets for the show are on sale now for $18.00 at DICE.

Dylan Moran said: “I’m deeply thrilled to be doing my first global streaming event.  All the more so for not necessarily understanding what that means.”

Moran has been called the ‘Oscar Wilde of comedy’ and his famed style – deadpan, witty with crackpot lyricism – makes for an unmissable journey through his interpretations of the world, swerving cliché to offer a cutting blow to our idiosyncrasies. Moran offers his unique take on love, politics, misery and the everyday absurdities of life, all served with poetical panache from one of the finest comedians of his generation.

Dylan Moran is a comedian, actor and writer who, in 1996 at the Edinburgh Fringe, became the youngest ever winner of the Perrier Award. He went on to co-write and star in Black Books which won two BAFTAs.
Other notable screen roles include Notting Hill, Calvary, Shaun of the Dead and Run Fatboy Run. Moran has toured the world many times, including versions of his show as far afield as Kazakhstan, Ukraine and across the US. His pre-pandemic ‘Dr Cosmos’ tour took in 49 dates throughout the UK with further international performances across Asia and Australia.
