Dolly Parton’s Here You Come Again Musical – Australia Tour 2025

Dust off those cowboy boots, slip on your sparkliest rhinestones, and get ready for a toe-tapping adventure—HERE YOU COME AGAIN, the glittering musical comedy bursting with Dolly Parton’s iconic hits, is finally heading Down Under!

Officially produced with Dolly Parton’s personal seal of approval, this upbeat spectacular features beloved classics like Jolene, 9 to 5, Islands in the Stream, and I Will Always Love You, woven into a heart-warming story that’s as hilarious as it is uplifting. After wowing audiences across the US and the UK, the show is now set to dazzle Australia with tickets for Sydney and Melbourne on pre-sale from 9am Wednesday 12th March. Waitlists are open for Perth, Newcastle, Canberra, and Adelaide, with general public tickets in Sydney and Melbourne going on sale Friday 14th March.

 

HERE YOU COME AGAIN follows the journey of a super-fan whose daydreams of Dolly help him navigate life’s toughest hurdles—delivering a nonstop parade of joy, charm, and Dolly’s signature wit. Taking centre stage is co-creator Tricia Paoluccio, reprising her role as the one and only Dolly, supported by Australia’s beloved Dash Kruck and a top-notch local ensemble rocking a live band.

I’ve been singing Dolly’s songs since I was little,” Paoluccio shares, brimming with excitement. “Having her personal stamp of approval on this musical is a dream come true, and I can’t wait to share the magic with Australian audiences!

Created by two-time Emmy Award-winning writer Bruce Vilanch, alongside director Gabriel Barre and Paoluccio, HERE YOU COME AGAIN also boasts a UK adaptation by Jonathan Harvey and an Australian adaptation by Fiona Harris and Mike McLeish. With musical direction by Andrew Worboys and lighting design by Jason Bovaird, this show promises an irresistible blend of laughter, music, and Dolly’s trademark sparkle.

Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre welcomes the production from 12th July, followed by Theatre Royal Sydney from 12th September—so be ready to say “I Will Always Love You!” to every song (unless your name is Jolene).
