Coronavirus claims its first arts victim as Voca People are set to cancel their Australian tour

With public hysteria reaching boiling point, fuelled primarily by sensationalised media propaganda, travel restrictions have caused tourism to shrink and the economy is now being tipped into a dangerous place. This domino effect and the spread of this novel coronavirus across the globe has resulted in the North American a-capella comedy group Voca People to cancel their Australian tour at the beginning of May 2020.

Originally the visually stunning and hilarious 8 talented alien singers, who are also comedians known collectively as the Voca People, were due to play a one night show at Sydney’s State Theatre on the 1st May and at Melbourne’s Art Centre on the 3rd May.

We are yet to receive any details about whether they will reschedule their tour. More details to come.
