John Frost has confirmed that WICKED will return to QPAC’s Lyric Theatre next year as part of the 10th Anniversary Australian tour.
Four years after their debut season in Brisbane, which saw the production shut down for several weeks during the devastating QLD floods, the cast of WICKED are set to return to the sunshine state from 15 February 2015.
“I’m thrilled we’re able to bring WICKED back to Brisbane as part of its 10th anniversary tour,” said John Frost.
“This is one of the most lavish musical productions to have ever toured Australia, the full Broadway experience. You can see every dollar spent on the magnificent sets and lush costumes, a feast for the eye and the ear. If you missed it last time, come and see WICKED for the first time, and if you have seen it before, I know you’ll want to come back and be spellbound all over again.”
Stephen Schwartz’s award-winning music theatre blockbuster will commence its 10th Anniversary Australian tour season in Melbourne next week and will transfer to Sydney from September 20.
Tickets for Brisbane will go on sale on 23 June 2014.
