Crown Theatre (Burswood) will host the multi million dollar show for a limited three week season commencing September 4.

Based on MGM’s 1968 motion picture of the same name, the original Australian production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang stars Rachel Beck, David Hobson, Alan Brough, Jennifer Vuletic and boasts a company of 80 performers. It is understood that the production will feature some Perth based children, although no audition notice has been posted at this stage.

The production remains the longest running musical ever to play at the London Palladium and the Chitty stage car holds the Guinness World Record for being the most expensive prop in the history of British Theatre.
