Artists added for PASIFIX at the Bowl

The comeback run of PASIFIX just got bigger – with soulful songstress Kaiit and MCs Sosefina Fuamoli and Latifa Tee added to a monster line-up for March 18 at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

ARIA award winning Kaiit joins a list of the brightest stars of Pasifeka, which includes Creative Nātives (Aotearoa / NZ) featuring Jordyn with a WHY, Chad Chambers and Hani Dread (Aotearoa / NZ), Drill heavyweights HP Boyz & Lisi, OG of Polynesian hip-hop Kas tha Feelstyle (Samoa) and Lani Alo (Samoa).

PASIFIX has been curated by Airileke Ingram and First Nation’s owned and operated Gaba Musik.

Gaba Musik Artistic Director, Airileke:

International borders have opened up since the first PASIFIX in 2021, so we are looking forward to bringing artists from Aotearoa – New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the USA.

The line-up is bigger and better than ever before.

PASIFIX combines a powerfully diverse harmony of Polynesian choirs to sweet island reggae, Aotearoa reggae, Ozzie Poly Drill and the tribal sounds of Papua New Guinea and West Papua.

Spectacular dance, log drumming and soulful choirs will bind the seams of the ancient to the modern, celebrating the cultural and contemporary artistic power of the Pacific Islands this March at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Two incredible talents will lead festivities with an MC duo featuring Sosefina Fuamoli and Latifa Tee.

Sosefina is a prolific Samoan-Australian music journo and host of 3RRR’s The Window Seatand Latifa is a Samoan-GuriNgai artist. DJ and host of Triple J’s Mix Up.

The ‘Bowl will be packed from the stages to the stalls – with Jevik Island Food Taste Truck, Hangi Boys and Maui’s Snack Bar serving your favourite dishes from the Pacific Islands.
