The Adelaide Cabaret Festival wraps up this weekend following an extraordinary two weeks.
The Festival has already been an enormous success, with huge highlights still to come and many shows completely sold out.
Highlights still to come include Caroline O’Connor [pictured], who performs on both Friday and Saturday at the Dunstan Playhouse.
Late on Friday and Saturday, Broadway star Shoshana Bean plays at the Banquet Room. Bean was a late addition to the schedule after a Facebook campaign to get her to play at the Festival was successful.
Earlier tonight, Stephen Schwartz performed at the Festival to massive acclaim. It follows an extraordinary night in Sydney earlier this week in which Schwartz produced one of the highlight nights of the theatre year.
There is also much excitement about performances by Marika Aubrey later this week. Aubrey burst onto the cabaret scene last year and after huge success in Sydney, wowed audiences in New York.
The Adelaide Cabaret Festival ends on Saturday.
