Stephanie Hsu, Juliette Lewis and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez Join Broadway Revival of The Rocky Horror Show

A star packed cast has been announced for Broadway’s upcoming revival of The Rocky Horror Show, with Stephanie Hsu, Juliette Lewis, Rachel Dratch and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez joining the production ahead of its 2026 opening.

The limited engagement will be directed by Tony Award winner Sam Pinkleton, whose recent work includes the Broadway hit Oh, Mary!. The revival will star Luke Evans, previously announced in the iconic role of Frank N Furter, the flamboyant alien scientist at the centre of the cult classic.

Oscar nominee Stephanie Hsu, best known for Everything Everywhere All at Once and Joy Ride, will make her Broadway debut as Janet, one half of the young couple drawn into Frank N Furter’s strange world. She is joined by Juliette Lewis, the Oscar and Emmy nominated star of Cape Fear and Yellowjackets, who will take on the role of Magenta.

Tony Award nominee and longtime Saturday Night Live favourite Rachel Dratch has been cast as the Narrator, while Golden Globe winner and Emmy nominee Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, known for Pose and Loot, will portray Columbia. Hsu, Lewis and Rodriguez will all make their Broadway debuts in the production.

The ensemble also includes Tony Award nominee Andrew Durand, Tony Award nominee and Theatre World Award winner Amber Gray, Critics Choice Award nominee Harvey Guillén, and Josh Rivera. They will be joined by Renée Albulario, Anania, Boy Radio, Caleb Quezon, Andres Quintero, Larkin Reilly, Paul Soileau and John Yi.

The revival will be produced by Roundabout Theatre Company, continuing the company’s long association with high profile Broadway revivals. Performances will take place at Studio 54.

Previews are set to begin on Thursday March 26, 2026, with an official opening scheduled for Thursday April 23, 2026. The production will run as a limited engagement through Sunday June 21, 2026.

With its blend of Broadway newcomers, established screen stars and a celebrated creative team, the revival signals a major new chapter for The Rocky Horror Show, bringing the cult phenomenon back to Broadway with a contemporary edge and considerable star power.
